Book Review: You Are Psychic! By Pete A. Sanders, Jr.
I picked this book up for $2 at a swap meet. Because I believe we are all psychic to a certain degree, because I believe we are more psychic in certain areas, and because you just can’t beat the price, I bought this book and hurried home to read it.
Written by a MIT graduate, this book actually dares to take on psychic phenomenon via science. But more than that, this book explains that, yes, we are all psychic and we are all more psychic in certain areas. For example, some people have a natural clairaudient sense, while others have stronger psychic feelings through physical touch, and so on.
In this book, Sanders explains that there are actually 9 senses, with four of them being psychic. He gives explanations of each of the senses, how to identify when we are experiencing one, where the reception area for each senses is, and how to strength that particular area of our psychic beings.
Even though it is written by a scientist, it is actually easy to read and understand. He is also careful to stress that we should never feel downtrodden, sad, or frustrated if we can’t seem to master one of the senses. He reminds us that where we might be weak in one area, we more than make up for it in another, thus maintaining a balance within ourselves.
One of the highlights of this book is when Sanders explains the personalities of each of the four psychic senses. In other words, people who are stronger at psychic visions are good at “visual-spatial problems” but tend to “be rigid and inflexible”.
There are 10 chapters all together and towards the end Sanders goes into self-healing, sensing auras, biofeedback, soul-shift and alpha-brain-wave connection, and plenty more topics that extend beyond the 4 extrasensory topics.
I recommend this book and give it 4 out of 5 mars bars.
